Our Story
Our
company name, translated literally, is French for "being
in natural style or condition." At Au Naturale
Aromatherapy, that is always our primary goal. To
provide our customers with the best in natural soaps and
personal care products. A well cared for body must
be accompanied by a fertile mind and a rested
soul. Our dedication to increasing consumers'
personal, spiritual, and environmental awareness is
unmistakable. We strive to conduct our business in
a way that is responsible to our customers, our
community, and our environment.
At Au
Naturale we are committed to providing high
quality natural body care products. We offer
over 20 varieties of handmade aromatherapy soaps and
natural body products. We use high quality
essential oils and essential oil blends to give
our products their wonderful aromas. In
the tradition of the famous Castile soaps, all
of our soaps contain at least 50% olive oil so
they are extraordinarily mild and gentle. Our
soaps get their color and texture from fresh fruits,
vegetable, and herbs. We strive to keep our
products completely natural and use synthetic fragrances and colors only when necessary. If we
do use a synthetic ingredient, we'll tell you before you
buy our product. The ingredients for each item we
sell are clearly listed in the product
description. We know that there are many reasons
why people choose to use handmade soap and natural
products and knowing what is in the product before you
use it is an important part of being an educated
consumer.
What's
in a Name?
We
put a lot of thought into naming our soaps. Most
of our soap names reflect the ingredients that are
actually in the soap and a few are named after what we
intended the soap to do for the skin when we created
it. We guarantee that each bar of soap contains
the specialty ingredient used in the product name.
Our Ginger
Carrot soap contains plenty of freshly pureed
organic carrots that gives it a vibrant orange
color. Some of our soaps have fancier names, but
rest assured that we use the same principle with these
as well. Our Oasis
soap contains lots (at least 2 whole ones in each
batch!) of wonderful skin nourishing avocados and
buttermilk. Our Coconut
Cream is rich with moisturizing coconut milk.
